文法 - might, may, will, would

最近在寫email時,對這幾個字的用法不是很了解
比如說,什麼時候用might什麼時候用may?
是未來的情況用may過去用might嗎?但印象中might是表示可能性比較小的情況
是這樣嗎?

另外
如果要說這樣的句子
It will be good if you can try something different.
還是應該
It would be good if you can try...
這兩者語意有何不同嗎?

Sometime , "may" is used to ask permission, such as "May I?". "might' is never used that way.

other than that, I kinda used them interchangeably

"It will be" is a promise.
"It would be" is a suggestion. That's the best I can put it.

Sean 你說的沒錯,might 是表示可能性比較小的情況,語帶保留,有也許的意思
當你用 may 的時候表示你比較確定你會去做這件事情

至於 will and would 差別比較沒那麼大,但 would 語氣比較含蓄
I want to go to NY 跟 I would like to go to NY,中文意思類似,但語氣就不一樣

大致上是這樣ㄅ....

"May"是非常超級有禮貌的問法開頭
May I...?
不過一般人你就直接用"Can I/Can you..."就不會聽起來超正式
"May"也可以用在覺得可能的情況
That lady may be able to help you with it.
用might聽起來是有一點點可能, 但比may好像更不確定
She might not know you well enough...
I might be home later tonight (vs. I may be home later tonight)

另外
It would be good...用would聽起來比較客氣
